Located next to the ocean in a remote fishing village, Sally’s Cove. The home of the “Whale’s Back”.
The restaurant got its name from a rock formation that during low tide is visible from the Grub Hub & as you drive North past Vessels Brook can be seen off Martin’s Point. The rock formation resembles the shape of a whale breaching the ocean surface.
Growing up in Sally's Cove the Whale's back was always fascinating as a child. In 2022, after 24 years in Ontario our family decided to returned home and purchased the business. Home is certainly where the heart is.
The original name "Snack Shack" started out as a Food Truck. Due to popularity, the previous owners purchased the building and added a souvenir/gift shop.
Our recipes are handed down through generations and are unique to us. Our seafood is sourced locally.
